A great day out was had at the Cork City Sports recently in MTU.  Well done to everyone involved, you represented your school so well.

Congratulations to 6th class who received the Sacrament of Confirmation yesterday from Bishop William Crean.  Well done 6th class, ye did us proud!!

Congratulations to Second Class who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesday 11th March.

Thank you to everyone who supported our collection for Street Angels.  It is wonderful to see such great support for this amazing charity at this time of year.

Yesterday 6th class held their Christmas raffle which raised a whopping €2,034… an amazing amount of money.  Thank you to all the people who sponsored prizes and to everyone who bought lines and supported our raffle.  The money will be split between all classes to buy boardgames, Lego and some library books.  A list of the winners and the sponsors are in the photos below.

Senior Infants performed their Christmas play “Busy Bethlehem” on Tuesday in the school hall.  They all did an amazing job and got us all into the Christmas spirit.  Maith sibh

Well done to the boys and girls in Junior Infants who performed the play “Humph the Camel” on Wednesday night in the church.

On Sunday Kilshannig beat Ballinora in Páirc Uí Chaoimh 1-19 to 0-11 to become County Junior A Hurling Champions.  The team and their mentors visited us yesterday to show off their new cup and to give us homework off for the week.  Thank you boys!!
