We celebrated World Book Day last Friday (6th March).  All children were invited to dress up, a librarian came into read to the younger classes and an author came into read part of her book to the older classes.  A recycling book sale was also held in the hall for all classes.  Here are some photos of a great day.

Thanks to one and all for their very generous donations to the school charity collection this year.  The Cork Homeless Support Group and the Simon Community are delighted with the response.  These items were collected today and here are some photos of what was collected.  Míle Buíochas

Today 6th class put on a “Christmas concert” in Brídhaven for some of their residents.  Well done to all involved.

Yesterday we got a lovely surprise… the Champions League Trophy came to visit.  Many thanks to John Manley for arranging the visit.
