Thanks to one and all for their very generous donations to the school charity collection this year.  The Cork Homeless Support Group and the Simon Community are delighted with the response.  These items were collected today and here are some photos of what was collected.  Míle Buíochas

Today 6th class put on a “Christmas concert” in Brídhaven for some of their residents.  Well done to all involved.

Yesterday we got a lovely surprise… the Champions League Trophy came to visit.  Many thanks to John Manley for arranging the visit.

Our School Calendar will be on sale on Sunday 8th December at the Christmas Fayre in Glantane Community Centre.  It will also be available to buy in school next week. Cost €10

Our school initiative of buying “gifts” for the homeless instead of buying gifts for your teachers made the front page of The Corkman today!! Lovely article also on page 10!! Many thanks to those who have already donated.

Huge congratulations to the Kilshannig team who won the Junior Football county cup yesterday in Páirc Uí Rinn.  Our past pupils did us proud and defeated St. James by a massive score of 0-22 to 0-11.  Thank you for visiting us today with the county cup and we wish ye all the best in yer endeavour for the Munster cup!!
