Recently our girls soccer team won their round in the FAI soccer competition.  The next round takes place in April.  Well done girls!!!  The team are pictured below with Alan Bennett, FAI.

On Friday 9th February we opened our doors to all our past pupils who wanted to visit their primary school before it will be demolished in a few weeks.  A huge crowd came to say goodbye to a big part of their childhood.  Roll books and old photographs were on display and past teachers and principals were there to say hello also.  Many thanks to all who turned up with endless stories to tell of their time in Dromahane N.S.

Below pictured is the team that entered the FAI 5 a side soccer tournament in Blarney recently.  They topped their group and were narrowly beaten for a place in the semi-final.  Well done boys!!

Many thanks to all who contributed to the recent collection for Street Angels Homeless Group.

Thanks to everyone who brought in shoeboxes for the Christmas Shoebox Appeal.  Pupils from Juniors to 6th class were involved this year.

Yesterday we were honoured and delighted to have Seán Óg visit us in the senior rooms.  The children were enthralled by him and he loved answering their questions.  Many thanks to all who arranged it.
