Third Class boys took part in a blitz in Mallow GAA complex today.  Well done boys.

Today we started a new initiative in Dromahane N.S.  As part of achieving our 5th Green Flag we are working on the theme Transport.  Every Wednesday we are now going to walk to school on the “walking bus”.  We start at the entrance to Newberry Estate and people can join us on the way to school.  Today was a great success and we tahnk all the parents who helped supervise the children and our Green Schools Co-Ordinator, Ellen Murphy, for coming along to give a hand.

School Closures 2019-2020

Last Friday two past pupils, Éanna O’Hanlon and Ciarán O’Sullivan, visited our school with two cups they won recently; the Munster Under 20 cup and the All-Ireland Under 20 cup.  We thank the boys for visiting us and answering some of the children’s questions.

Today some of the members of the victorious Kilshannig team visited our school.  Some of the players were past pupils of our school and they did us proud at the weekend.  Kilshannig won the Avondhu Junior Football Final on Saturday beating Kilworth 3-16 to 0-7.  We wish them all the best in their quest for the county.

Risk assessment June 2019

Welcome back everybody.  We are back a week now and every class has settled in well.  A special welcome to our new junior infants.  Wishing everyone a happy and successful school year!!
