Our boys and girls did us proud at the City Sports this year.  Below see some of the photos taken on the day.

On Wednesday 29th May 6th Class received the sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop William Crean.  It was a fabulous day and the ceremony was beautiful.  Well done everyone.

Congratulations to our boys and girls in 2nd Class who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday 11th May.  It was a very special occasion for everyone.

Huge congratulations to our soccer team who played in the FAI 5-a-side soccer county final in Musgrave Park last Friday.  They won their group, the quarter and semi finals and unfortunately lost the final 3-2 despite their best effort.  We are extremely proud of them all!

On Sunday 7th April our senior quiz team took part in the Credit Union School Quiz National Finals held in the RDS, Dublin.  Our quiz team placed 9th overall in the country which is a tremendous achievement for a country school in Cork.  Well done to all involved.

On Saturday 23rd March our girls and boys football teams played in Super Valu Páirc Uí Chaoimh at half time at the Cork Armagh football match.  A great experience for all involved.

On Saturday 23rd March four of our 6th class pupils took part in an All Ireland Senior Schools Swimming Gala in the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin.   They came 2nd in the IM relay and 3rd in the Freestyle relay.  What an achievement!!!

Below are just some of the photos taken on the day we moved into our new school.  The children were so excited to see their new classrooms and you can see on their faces how amazed they were.   The oldest and the youngest pupils cut the ribbon and led us into our new school.  Caroline O’Shea wrote a song about our new school and we thank her very much for this.  To all the parents thank you for all your help, support and patience over the last few years.  It has been worth the wait!!!

Congratulation to our senior Credit Union Quiz team who won the Chapters Final last Sunday, 3rd March in Mallow.  They now go on the the All Ireland Final, held in the RDS in Dublin, on Sunday 7th April.  We wish them the very best of luck!
