Today, Wednesday 22nd June, 6th Class graduated from Dromahane N.S..  An End of Year Mass, where 6th Class were guests of honour, was held in Dromahane Church at 10am.  6th Class parents and family members were invited back to the school for refreshments and the “graduation ceremony” continued!!!

Second Class received their First Holy Communion on Saturday 4th June at 11am.  A lovely ceremony was held in St, Peter’s Church followed by refreshments in the school.  Congratulations second class!

Dromahane received their 3rd Green Flag on Monday 16th June in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island.  4th class were guests of honour on the day performing the song “Switch it off, Don’t run off”, which they composed.

Dromahane N.S. took part in a Tennis tournament in Togher on Friday 27th May.  Eight schools took part on the day and Dromahane were the winners. Well done to Ruairí O’Halloran, Miriam Timoney, Cherian Joseph, Cian O’Shea, Ben Creedon and Darragh Carmody.

6th Class decided to bring in some of the money they received for their Confirmation and donate it to a charity of their choosing.  Votes were cast silently and Marymount Hospice came out on tops.  €382 was raised, well done 6th Class!!!

6th Class received their confirmation on Tuesday 19th April at 11am. The children were confirmed by Bishop William Crean.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation will take place on Wednesday 9th March in St. Peters Church at 7.30pm.

Enrolement Mass for the Confirmation class takes place on Sunday 6th March at 11.00am
