1st & 2nd Class went on their school tour today (16th May) to the Mardyke Arena, Cork.  The children had a wonderful day out.  Here are some of the activities the children enjoyed…

We are delighted to announce that we have received another STEM award this year.   We have achieved a second Primary Science Plaque of  STEM excellence!!!!   A whole school approach was undertaken and all classes are thanked for their great work.   A special word of thanks goes to 5th Class and Ms Cronin.  Well done to all.

Congratulations to the 6th Class pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Tuesday last, 9th May.  The children were confirmed by Bishop William Crean in St. Peter’s Church, Dromahane.

Hope everyone had a lovely summer and are coming back refreshed for another busy school year.

We want to extend a particular warm welcome to our 31 new pupils in Junior Infants and their parents.

Dromahane N.S. received their STEM award today!!!!!

Today, Wednesday 22nd June, 6th Class graduated from Dromahane N.S..  An End of Year Mass, where 6th Class were guests of honour, was held in Dromahane Church at 10am.  6th Class parents and family members were invited back to the school for refreshments and the “graduation ceremony” continued!!!

Second Class received their First Holy Communion on Saturday 4th June at 11am.  A lovely ceremony was held in St, Peter’s Church followed by refreshments in the school.  Congratulations second class!
