Music plays an integral part of school life in Dromahane N.S.

Music lessons (taught by a Music teacher) start in 1st Class with Tin Whistles and then branch into flutes and concertinas up along the school.  John from tradtime.ie visits our school weekly to teach us some new tunes and these can be accessed online at tradtime.ie

Drama

Drama is taught in every class but every second year each class puts on a performance for the school, their parents, families and the wider community.

This year 6th Class performed the play “Rumpled Beauty and her seven not very good looking cousins” in Dromahane Community Centre on Friday 18th December.

5th Class performed the play “A Triumph of All Sorts” on Proclamation Day (Tuesday 15th March) to tie in with the celebrations held in the school that day.
